TenantWard

Terms of Service

Last updated October 4, 2026

1. The agreement

These terms are between you (the business that creates a TenantWard workspace, and the people it invites) and TenantWard. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of that business, and you confirm you’re authorized to do so.

2. What TenantWard does

TenantWard checks the security of the domains, Microsoft 365 tenants, Google Workspace organizations and DNS hosts you connect, explains what it finds, and, when you approve it, makes changes to fix problems. Features depend on your plan, as described on the pricing page.

3. Your accounts and what you connect

  • You may only connect systems your business owns or is authorized to manage, including systems you manage for clients under your agreement with them.
  • Keep your sign-in secure and turn on two-factor sign-in. You’re responsible for what happens under your workspace’s accounts.
  • You can disconnect any system at any time. Microsoft and Google permissions can also be removed from their admin consoles; DNS keys are deleted when you disconnect them.

4. Changes TenantWard makes for you

Every change shows a plan (what will change, who’s affected, what might stop working and how to undo it) and runs only after a member of your workspace approves it. TenantWard saves the previous state first where the system allows it and records every change.

You decide whether a change is right for your business. Some changes, such as enforcing sign-in policies or DMARC, can interrupt email or access if other systems depend on the old setting; the plan says so before you approve. Automatic incident response runs only if you switch it on, within the limits you set.

5. Plans, trials and billing

  • New workspaces get a 7-day trial with limited fixes. Afterwards the workspace moves to Free unless you choose a paid plan.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Company plans are priced by the number of people in your connected organization; IT provider plans are priced per client. If that count moves you into a different price, the new price starts from your next bill.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately, with the difference charged pro rata. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and then the workspace moves to Free. We don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
  • Prices exclude taxes, which are added where they apply. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change before it affects your renewal.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use TenantWard to access systems you aren’t authorized to manage, to attack or probe third parties, to break the law, or to interfere with the service. Don’t resell it except as an IT provider managing your own clients.

7. Your data

Your data stays yours. We use it to provide the service, as described in the privacy page. We may use aggregated, anonymized statistics (for example, how many companies pass a check) to improve TenantWard; these never identify you or your clients.

8. AI features

Explanations and answers written by AI are based on your findings and may be incomplete or wrong. They never make changes. Treat them as guidance, and check anything important. You can switch AI off for your workspace in Settings.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep TenantWard available and secure but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted. Microsoft, Google, DNS hosts and other providers can change or limit their services, which may affect what TenantWard can do. We may change features; if we remove something material from your paid plan, you can cancel and we’ll refund the unused part of the period.

10. Disclaimers

TenantWard helps you find and fix security problems; it can’t guarantee that your systems won’t be breached, that every problem will be found, or that you’ll meet any law, standard, insurance requirement or audit. Reports and baselines are evidence to support those efforts, not certification. Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided “as is”.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and each side’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid TenantWard in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to your payment obligations or to either side’s fraud or willful misconduct.

12. Ending the agreement

You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms or doesn’t pay, after notice where practical. When a workspace is closed we delete its data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep.

13. Changes to these terms

We’ll post updates here and tell workspace owners about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use TenantWard after that means you accept the updated terms.
